Apple Announces iPhone SE.

A big step for small.

Yesterday, was the March Apple event. There were not many products, but lot to love. One of them was the iPhone SE.

The iPhone SE is the new 4-inch phone from Apple. It comes in the same form factor as the iPhone 5s, but packed with amazing new features inside and out.

It starts with the design. The iPhone SE takes the beloved design of the 5s and refines it further.
It comes in a new Rose Gold finish, the same one of the 6s.

The iPhone SE is the most powerful 4-inch phone to date. It has the exact same A9 processor that is in the iPhone 6s. With the A9 processor comes an M9 motion co-processor. This tracks your fitness everyday. And apps can take advantage. More than that, this allows an always-on 'Hey Siri!'. With these new processors, the iPhone SE is twice as fast in CPU tasks that the iPhone 5s. But more than that, it's 3x faster in graphics tasks.

The iPhone SE comes with an amazing camera. It's 12 Mega Pixels and records stunning 4K video. Just like the iPhone 6s. Although this iPhone does not have 3D Touch built-in, it can capture live photos. You can edit your videos in iMovie, and edit 2 4K streams simultaneously, right in the palm of your hands!
The front facing camera is 5 MP, you can take stunning selfies with this phone!

iPhone SE comes with Touch ID, so you can unlock your phone fast, while being secure at the same time.
Since the it has Touch ID, you can use iPhone SE to make payments with Apple Pay. To make this possible, there had to be an NFC chip and a Secure Element inside the iPhone SE.

iPhone SE has faster LTE and Wi-Fi. It supports up to 19 LTE bands, up to 150Mbps over LTE and up to 433Mbps on Wi-Fi.

iPhone SE comes with iOS 9 with all the cool features. And it supports Night Shift with iOS 9.3.

iPhone SE costs just $399 for 16GB! On a 2-year plan, it's FREE!!

You can pre-order the iPhone SE starting Thursday (March 24th) and it will begin shipping March 31.

Apple has started production of iPhone SE in India. Shipping later in May.

This post is taken from  9to5Mac . In the US, the  iPhone SE sells in two flavors , a 32 GB and 128 GB model for $399 and $499 respectively. Third-party Indian resellers already undercut that price point, selling iPhone SE around the $320 mark. Apple was  effectively forced into setting up domestic manufacturing  in order to launch Indian retail stores, as India laws state that companies wanting a retail presence must source at least 30% of their goods locally. According to the Wall Street Journal, government officials hope to see the India iPhone SE sell for even less in its home country. There are obviously some cost savings for Apple to take advantage of by producing domestically and local government reportedly believes Apple could sell its iPhone for as low as $220 (converted to Indian currency). Apple typically does not like to price its devices differently based on region,...

What's in Store? : March 15th Apple Event

March 15th? Has Apple given an invitation already? No. The rumors point to an event that will be held on March 15th. It will hold many announcements such as, a new iPhone 5Se, 3rd Generation iPad Air and new Apple Watch Bands. iPhone 5Se The iPhone 5Se or iPhone 5 Special Edition will be a 4 inch screen with an Apple A9 processor which is currently in the iPhone 6s. It will feature a design just like the iPhone 6, but in a smaller form factor. iPad Air 3 The iPad Air 3 rumors are now pointing to an Apple A9X processor, the same one that is in the iPad Pro. This is great news! The iPad Air 3 might just be a bit thicker and heavier than the old one, but the difference should not be noticed. New Apple Watch Bands An image of a black Apple Watch with a black Milanese loop was leaked on the Apple Website. The rumors point to Apple releasing/announcing this version of the Apple Watch. It looks gorgeous. Rahul
