What's in store: March 21st Apple Event

We are coming closer to the release of the iPhone Se and a lot more. Let's take a final look at what we might see next Monday.

iPhone Se

We have heard plenty about the next 4-inch iPhone. But the rumors don't stop flowing in our houses. Let's take a final look at the iPhone Se.

The iPhone Se will stand for iPhone Special Edition. It will not replace the iPhone 5S, but the iPhone 5S will get a price cut. The iPhone Se is targeted for smaller markets, such as India. It will have 4-inch Retina Display. It will come with a similar design as to the iPhone 5S, but will be a little more rounded towards the edges.

The iPhone Se will be priced around $450.

The next iPad

We have no idea what the next iPad will be called. Some say iPad Air 3, most say 9.7 inch iPad Pro. Whatever it may be, it will come with almost the same specs as the iPad Pro. It will feature an A9X processor with the M9 processor. It will come wit ha speaker at each corner of the device, just like the iPad Pro. It sounds great!

New Apple Watch Bands

The catchline of the event, 'Let us loop you in', refers to the new Apple Watch Milanese loop which will have a black color.

Earlier this year, the band leaked on the Apple website. It was later removed.

We just have to wait and see what the event will hold for us.

Third-party Indian resellers already undercut that price point, selling iPhone SE around the $320 mark. Apple was  effectively forced into setting up domestic manufacturing  in order to launch Indian retail stores, as India laws state that companies wanting a retail presence must source at least 30% of their goods locally. According to the Wall Street Journal, government officials hope to see the India iPhone SE sell for even less in its home country. There are obviously some cost savings for Apple to take advantage of by producing domestically and local government reportedly believes Apple could sell its iPhone for as low as $220 (converted to Indian currency). Apple typically does not like to price its devices differently based on region,...
